privind acordarea unor scutiri si reduceri la impozitul pe salarii

    Prezidiul Marii Adunari Nationale a Republicii Populare Romine, decreteaza:

    Art. 1
    Articolul 5 din Decretul nr. 153 din 11 mai 1954, privitor la impozitul pe veniturile populatiei se modifica si va avea urmatorul cuprins:
    "Art. 5
    Impozitul pe cistigul salariatilor se calculeaza lunar asupra totalitatii cistigului realizat in luna expirata, pe fiecare loc de munca in parte, potrivit cotelor de mai jos:

Cistigul lunar impozabil         Impozit lunar
          lei
------------------------  ----------------------------------
pina la    500            scutit
           501 - 750      cite un leu de fiecare 10 lei sau
                          fractiune din 10 lei pentru partea
                          ce depaseste 500 lei
           751 - 1000     25 lei + 2 lei de fiecare 10 lei
                          sau fractiune din 10 lei pentru
                          partea ce depaseste 750 lei
          1001 - 1100     75 lei + 13% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1000 lei
          1101 - 1200     94 lei + 14% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1100 lei
          1201 - 1300     113 lei + 15% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1200 lei
          1301 - 1400     133 lei + 16% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1300 lei
          1401 - 1500     151 lei + 16% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1400 lei
           peste 1500     175 lei + 16% pentru partea ce
                          depaseste 1500 lei.

    Fractiunile in bani rezultate la impozitul calculat potrivit cotelor de mai sus, ramin in favoarea salariatilor.
    In cazul cind, prin aplicarea cotelor de mai sus, la un salariu brut superior rezulta un salariu net mai mic decit la un salariu brut inferior, primul impozit se reduce astfel ca salariile nete sa fie egale in aceste situatii."
    Art. 2
    Suma de "240 lei" prevazuta la art. 2 lit. b, art. 8 si 14 lit. a din Decretul nr. 153/1954, devine "500 lei".
    Art. 3
    Prevederile prezentului decret se aplica incepind cu data de 1 august 1959.
